  1. I thought you had written there was to be a christmas children’s something last Sat. so I had thought of going. But I looked on the Balboa park website. I really don’t like there new “improved” website and calendar. I can’t get it to show days ahead and even using it on the same day is much more complicated. I didn’t see anything special listed for the holidays. I looked on FB, too, and saw nothing. So gave up.

    1. I have the same complaint about their listed events. Most of it is just ongoing exhibitions, and many things like plant shows in the Casa del Prado aren’t mentioned. Very disappointing. I think I happened to learn about the Christmas on the Prado event either while walking through the park, or on the San Diego Reader online event calendar, which seems to be the best, most complete, easily navigable event calendar I’ve found.

      1. Where/how do I access the San Diego reader? The old Balboa park calendar always listed the plant shows, what was new in the botanical garden, etc. It was easy to use, you could easily loo ahead, it showed what films were showing in the museums and when.

This new set up is awful.
